Quick, Snappy, Informative.
Fast introduction to the HP Designjet T920 and T1500 large format printers with all the key points. These are both technical printers ideally suited for CAD / Engineering work and aimed at architects, engineers, construction, manufacturing, automotive, infrastructure, utilities, telecoms, retail and education sector. They both offer: – 2400 x 1200 dpi resolution – web connectivity – ability to create a professional A1 print in 21 seconds – standard 64GB memory – 6 ink system – providing dark blacks, true neutral greys and vivid colours – 1 long life printhead (covers all colours) – integrated output stacking tray (up to 50 pages) – flexible collation options on stacking tray e.g. first print on top, last print on top etc… – printers are lower than other Designjet printer ranges to enable prints to be easily collected from the stacker via the front of the printer, and allowing the printer to be accessed while seated – even with the stacker, the printer can be placed against a wall. – clear view to see through printer in order to check prints as they are being printed – small footprint – flat worktop area on top of the printer, allowing easy print output checking – a special roll bar to stop pens falling into the stacker, if placed on the top of the printer – flexible printing – enabling you to adjust the output trays – adjustable touchscreen so you can view the touchscreen from a seated position – access and print projects when you’re away from your desk using HP ePrint and Share – ability to print without drivers by using a USB stick or directly emailing projects to the printer – monitor media rolls, view printer status, track jobs during printing – true print previews Key differences between the 2 models are: – The Designjet T1500 provides 2 rolls and smart switching and borderless printing (the T920 has just one roll) – The Designjet T1500 has 2 years manufacturers warranty (against the T920 which offers 1 year warranty). – The T920 is great for small workgroups, whereas the T1500 has been designed for demanding teams and busy workgroups. – The PostScript models also offer an additional 320GB Hard drive – the standard models have 64 GB memory (virtual) Personal Note: – At 5ft 1″ height you can still reach the prints from the stacker – much shorter and it will be a tip-toes job unless you walk around to the back of the printer. Nice design with a lot of thought gone into it. HP worked with many customers to get the overall ‘perfect’ design that worked for the majority. We listened to trial site customer who found the overall design very beneficial. For more information on these printers (or any others!) please contact us on 0845 0770 787 or email email@example.com
